Submissions are now open for abstracts for this year’s Forensic Network Research Special Interest Group Conference. Join us on Thursday 5 November 2026 for a day of insight, inspiration, and innovation in forensic mental health research.
The conference will feature two keynote addresses, breakout sessions for presentations and a rapid poster presentation session. This year’s keynote addresses will be delivered by Dr Christopher Canning, Director, Research & Academics, Waypoint Research Institute, who will present on Patient Involvement in Forensic Mental Health Research; and Geoff Tordzro-Taylor, Head of Research & Development, Risk Management Authority whose presentation will focus on Psychopathy in the OLR population.
We are inviting abstract submissions for oral presentations and rapid poster presentations. Presentations will last for 15 minutes with the opportunity for questions at the end. Rapid poster presentations will last for 3 minutes and should be based on a hard copy poster to be submitted on one landscape style PowerPoint slide to be presented to the audience as part of the rapid poster session. All abstracts must be submitted by 26 June 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to share your research, showcase your ideas, and inspire colleagues across the network.
The conference is now open for booking and we would encourage colleagues to book a place at the earliest opportunity!
